On FRIDAY, Sol will be leading us westward with visits to West Kensington (that’s Fulham in real life) and Olympia before climbing the west face of Holland Park. Half time (and you’ll welcome the break!) will be at Holland Park tube. The black section will start with a reward for the climb as we shoot down Kensington Church Street. This is a reasonably steep slope with buses coming the other way and a busy junction at the bottom so please don’t attempt it if you aren’t able to control your speed downhill. Then it’s south down to Chelsea and home along the Kings Road. We’ll finish by checking out Buck House. The property crash is said to have knocked £57 million off the price and Sol’s looking for a bigger place.
