London has some great buildings. Unfortunately they are next to some really bad ones.  So this weeks Sunday Stroll will have an architectural theme, the theme being stolen from the Royal Academies exhibition on Palladio and his influence on London in the seventeenth and eighteenth century. Yes, there are still some buildings around since then. This 7.2 mile skate will go past such examples as Burlington House (Colen Campbell 1717-20), Banqueting House (Inigo Jones 1619-22) and The Old Treasury (William Kent 1733-36). Palladio my have written four books on the rules of architecture, however we on the LFNS have one principal rule, please keep left.
