This FRIDAY is the last LFNS of the year, arguably the last one of the decade, and quite definitely the last one of the 1263000000-second period that began on January 1st 1970. Tell us that doesn’t make it significant
The route, however, is pretty bog-standard. Half time is near Aldwych, there’s some nice new surfaces in the Covent Garden area, and should there be anyone in town for Christmas who wants to see the tourist sights, it goes through Trafalgar Square and past the British Museum
At time of writing this the weather forecasters says snow, but they’ve been wrong before so don’t lose all hope just yet. It is likely to be pretty cold out there, though, so wrap up warm.
