Going North West. Mainly fast, and smooth, with some nice downhills.
Heading out to Putney and Wansdworth Bridge. Taking advantage of the summer to enjoy Wandsworth Park. Flat, smooth, and scenic.
Heading West to Chiswick. Straight, smooth, mostly flat “other than Kensington Church St”, reasonably fast surfaces.

Heading for a touristy first half, on flat smooth roads. Heading back via Victoria.
This week, we are reviving an old favourite along the straight, smooth, flat, fast streets of South West London.
Friday, weather permitting, we are heading out West along relatively straight, fast, smooth roads.
Relatively flat route, with just a relatively gentle climb to the top of Campden hill to enjoy skating down Kensington Church Street.
So last week, the London Skate made it to Ladbroke Grove, but the LFNS reverse was rained off. So lets try again.
A smooth undulating route.
Same half time as Weds, but opposite direction. A slightly longer circle, with smooth, undulating roads.
This Friday, the route has a bit of everything. Straight roads, zig-zag sections, main roads, alleyways, smouth roads, rough roads, gorgeous river views, council estates, over bridges, under bridges, roads above ground, roads below, parks and a sports stadium. But mainly left turns.
Heading back to Putney/Wandsworth. This being summer, we have enough light to skate along the river in Wandsworth Park, and should have some nice sunset views along the embankment on Grovesnor Road.
Flat, mainly straight, smooth, are relatively fast.
