Goodwood Roller Marathon – Awesome Charity Outcome!

November 16, 2010

The Camberly Crew, organizers of the Goodwood Roller Marathon, have this week published the final outcome of the charity fundraising side of this year’s event. The 2010 Goodwood marathon took place on 8th August and aimed to raise money in support of the NSPCC. Total money raised through sponsorship and the efforts of both organizers and individual competitors turns out to be £31,077.02, a phenomenal achievement!

Over 700 people took part in this year’s Goodwood marathon, 200 more than last year, making it the biggest turnout in the event’s history. Most of whom travelled some distance to take part.

We’re assured by the Camberly crew that Goodwood 2011 is on the cards. The date is yet to be confirmed but should, as usual, be in early August. Pencil it in your calendars therefore!
